Glass Recycling

Glass Recycling

Glass is known to be one of the most crucial material that is being used for variety of purposes in residential, commercial and industrial sectors.

It is not difficult to produce Glass from scratch, as the basic Raw materials (Limestone, Soda Ash and Sand) are available naturally and in abundance. However there is a need of melting these basic Raw materials, which is done at a very high temperature, hence burning Fossil fuel is required to melt these Raw materials to produce the finish product such as glass.

Glass has been widely used to manufacture decorative items, utensils, mirrors, windows, display material, furniture, containers for perfumes and several other things. There is an absolute need of Glass Recycling, and this is not only to save the Fossil fuel / energy that is used in production of the glass, but also to avoid any injuries that may cause due to broken or damaged glass pieces / shreds.

At Colour Code, we safely and securely recycle glass either broken, damaged, overstock and old glass irrespective of its type and Colour. So they can be recycled to make new products.
